Commentaires-Historique
 
    L’auteur de la musique de ce tango très connu, Filiberto, dirigeait un orchestre qui avait un son si particulier qu’il est impossible de ne pas le reconnaître dès les premières mesures de l’enregistrement.
   Cette composition a été primée au concours de la municipalité de Buenos Aires, en 1926, et fut divulgué par Ignacio Corsini, avant même de l’enregistrer, en 1927.
    Le titre évoque le petit village de naissance de l’auteur, dans la Provincia de La Rioja. Ce titre a été choisi, en hommage à Filiberto, pour dénommer une rue (un ancien passage de train), et un quartier de La Boca, à Buenos Aires, lors de sa restauration et de sa transformation en temple touristique du tango.
